Cisco Quality of Service Training​ Course Overview

This course equips delegates with the knowledge of the quality of service (QoS) requirements, conceptual QoS models using integrated services, differentiated service, and implementation of QoS. This course explains the QoS design issues and configuration of the QoS mechanism to enable the creation of effective administrative policies providing QoS.

This course describes converged networks, methods of implementing and managing quality of service (QoS). Delegates will also become familiarised with the use of AutoQoS and MQS to implement QoS on the network. Delegates will gain an understanding of converged network and policy defining QoS requirements. They will also acquire knowledge of how to use QoS queuing mechanisms to manage the network. Along with this, delegates will also learn how to use QoS congestion avoidance mechanisms to decrease the congestion effects in a network.

During this course, delegates will learn how to use the Cisco quality of service traffic policies and shaping mechanisms to limit the rate of network traffic. Delegates will also acquire an understanding of how to use Cisco link efficiency mechanisms to improve the low speed WAN links and bandwidth efficiency.
