We are glad to announce that the Master of Social Sciences in Health and Social Services Management (MHSM) has successfully obtained 10 fellowships from the University Grants Committee’s (UGC) Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowships Scheme for the 2020/21 academic year. Successful applicants may be eligible for a UGC Fellowship for partial tuition waiver!

The Master of Social Sciences in Health and Social Services Management programme (MHSM) is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time advance programme that aims to prepare a new generation of social service practitioners and allied health managers to provide progressive and innovative solutions to complex challenges of the ever dynamic health service delivery systems.

It adopts a multidisciplinary and internationally recognized approach to provide students with skills in providing services in an ageing and a rapid technology-developed society. It will equip students with necessary management skills to lead and manage teams, to plan and implement services and to work effectively with service users and stakeholders.

Scholarship
A variety of scholarships may be available in any given year. Applicants who receive admission offers will be automatically considered eligible to compete for the Scholarships.

Full-time/Part-time

Duration of Study
Full-time: min. 12 months; max. 24 months
Part-time: min.24 months; max. 36 months
Note: Part-time students are expected to take at least two courses in each term in various orders as long as the course prerequisites are satisfied.
