Course Overview
透過理論和實踐，本課程旨在為學生提供工程及建造的基礎知識，並讓學生掌握業界最新發展，輔助他們在土木工程專業或建造行業大展拳腳，成為助理工程師、項目統籌、工程監督員、技術主任及技術員。
課程目標
完成課程後，學員應能：
- 應用數學、物理及工程原理就土木工程問題提出解決方法；
- 根據法定要求爲結構進行評估，並就結構元素問題設計解決方案，以滿足特定建築物及改建工程的要求；
- 按照需要進行實驗室研究及實地考察，評估物料的性能及特質，以及其對結構的影響；
- 在建築開發項目中應用三維設計及建模工具；
- 評估建築及基建發展對本地人口、環境、都市規劃、交通及其他可持續發展的影響；
- 在管理項目及合約時，實踐專業團體及法例對於職安健、專業及道德方面的要求。
