Course Overview
Introduction
This course aims to improve cybersecurity awareness and build a culture of compliance for employees by improving their knowledge about cybersecurity and cybercriminals.
Many organizations understand the importance of cybersecurity. They take several measures like using firewalls, complete cybersecurity defense methods, and advanced IT protocols to protect their systems. However, without cybersecurity awareness training for employees, the measures would not work since the employees are the weakest link in the cybersecurity chain in an organization. Cybercriminals can bypass any technology, and in the end, you rely on the human factor to perform the attack. Data showed that breaches cost UK organizations an average of £2.9 million per breach in 2019, and a human error accounted for 90% of breaches. Those facts alone show how important is security awareness training to every organization.
Cybersecurity awareness training for employees is a training or coaching process that motivates and prepares agents on cybersecurity and its applications.
