Programme Objectives

• Build up students' foundational knowledge in the health sciences discipline to pave the way for their development as healthcare personnel.
• Equip students with fundamental skills used in the healthcare sector.
• Develop students' language and communication skills for their future vocational and/or academic endeavours.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the programme, leaners should be able to:

• Demonstrate understanding of the foundational health sciences knowledge, mathematical skills, and the professional and legal standards in the healthcare services;
• Perform appropriate techniques to ensure proper delivery of healthcare services;
• Identify the different forms of language to be used in different situations in the delivery of healthcare services; and
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the processes in the delivery of healthcare services.
