(A) Assessment Items and Their Weighting: (1) Continuous Assessment (20%) - assesses students’ ability to communicate with patients and provide health education information in community servicein of dental health education. (2) Final Clinical Examination (40%) (3) Final Written Examination (40%) (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Pass each module taken with overall passing mark of 50% and (2) At least 80% attendance rate for lectures in all modules taken and at least 80% attendance rate for non-lectures in all modules taken.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
A. Level 2 in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language and English Language or equivalent; or a recognized Diploma Yi Jin / Diploma of Applied Education; or B. Aged 21 or above at the commencement of the programme plus minimum 1-year health related working experience; or C. Other equivalent qualifications to be assessed by LIFE

THE INSTRUCTORS SHOULD BE DENTISTS, DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTANTS OR QUALIFIED DENTAL PROFESSIONALS WITH A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS RELEVANT POST-REGISTRATION EXPERIENCE.
