With this course, I have completed all 3 of this instructor's courses on Tableau (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced). Going through these consecutively has given me confidence in using Tableau. This Advanced course provided a lot of tutorials on complex visualizations, although some of the chart types are presented with an assumption of the student being familiar with that type of chart. While this is not a statistics or analysis course, I would have liked to see just a little more explanation on these chart types and how an analyst might use them, particularly in relation to what the example data might indicate. The one issue in this course is the practice file provided (the one the student uses to follow along) is not properly set up for all of the lessons. So worksheets have settings left over from the completed versions, or calculated fields left over. Other lessons are missing the sheet entirely, meaning the student must recreate the sheet just to follow along. The entire final lesson is missing all 3 of the worksheets needed. This would have been better managed with just a blank file, and while more time consuming building each detail out, would also give the student more practice.

Missing worksheets made the last chapter very hard to follow.

Really enjoy Eric's teaching approach and human touch and understanding also present in his earlier Beginner and Intermediate courses-:)
