Go from complete Excel Newbie to Rock Star in just a few hours

Go From Excel Newbie To Rock Star In Just a Few Hours!

  • Do you need to learn how to use Excel from the very beginning?

  • Do you wish someone would slow down, explain things properly and talk to you without the jargon?

  • Are you sick of Excel tutorials that you can hardly see because they don't zoom in?

  • Would you like fully interactive lessons with practice files you can download and use in Excel?

Well, You’ve Come To The Right Place!

Our “Microsoft Excel - From Beginner to Pro” course gives you everything you need to go from Excel Newbie to total Rock Star in just a few hours.

And unlike many other Excel courses, I slow things down, explain things properly and ZOOM IN so you can see everything clearly on your screen.

We Start At The Very Beginning

First up, I take you on a Tour of the main screens and menus so you can find your way around Excel. You’ll also learn a few ways to change the look and feel of your Excel screen so you can customise it to your liking.

Then we do some Jargon-Busting so you can get to grips with what words like: spreadsheet, workbook, worksheet, row, column and cell actually mean.

You will then learn how to create a new spreadsheet, give it a name and save the file to your device or to OneDrive.

Then It’s Time To Get Into The Good Stuff!

Over the next few sections you will learn the Fundamentals of how to manage the Worksheets, Rows, Columns and Cells of your Excel spreadsheets. This includes:

  • Inserting, deleting and renaming worksheets

  • Changing the height and width of rows and columns

  • Entering data into cells

  • Merging and unmerging cells

  • And much more

I will then show you the different Data Formats you can have in your spreadsheet’s cells such as: Text, Numbers and Dates and how to easily change the formats if you need to.

After that, you will learn a bunch of different ways to Copy and Paste in Excel, including how to paste only values, formats or formulas. Don’t miss this!

You'll Master Excel's Time-Saving Data Tools

We then run through some Amazing Tools that will save you lots of time in Excel when using large ranges of data, such as:

  • AutoFill and Flash Fill

  • Find and Replace

  • Remove Duplicates

  • Sort and Filter

Easily Learn Formulas and Functions

Next up, I explained the Basics of Formulas and Functions in Excel so you can understand how they work before we dive into the lessons on a few of Excel’s most basic but popular functions: SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX and MIN.

Once you’re ready, you can move on to learning how to use a few more Advanced Functions such as: CONCAT, IF and VLOOKUP.

Get On Top of Printing and Security

I then show you how to set up your Excel spreadsheets properly so you can Print them to one page, multiple pages or PDFs.

After that, we'll cover some important security features in Excel such as how to prevent other people from making changes to various parts of your spreadsheets and how to Password Protect your Excel files for added security.

Create Your First Charts, Tables and Pivot Tables

Then, you’ll learn step-by-step how to create your first charts in Excel which are a great way to make large amounts of data easy to read.

You’ll also learn how to create Excel tables so you can filter and sort your data however you like.

Finally, we’ll finish the course by learning about how to use Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, which are powerful tools that you can use to calculate, summarise, and analyse your data.

You'll Become An Excel Rock Star

I’m confident that I can make you an Excel Rock Star in just a few hours even if you’re a total Newbie.
