As with most technology, it is almost dated after it comes out. Currently we are on Edge and Chrome and not Internet Explorer and Firefox. It is just interesting. Thankfully most of Word, tends to stay the same, things just move. Currently there is Microsoft 365, more of a web based version where to have the full function of Word - one opens in the Desktop App.
