Build a Professional WordPress Website using Elementor Pro

Previous experience with Wordpress My experience with Wordpress started in 2012 when I created my website www.mariviereaquarelle.com. I created my site with the theme KARMA of Thrue Theme (ENVATO). In April 2021, I noticed that the KARMA theme had been updated to fit the new Wordpress block structure. I tried to rebuild my site using the new version of the theme, but I experienced many difficulties due to compatibility issues between extensions and the instability of my computer following the installation of OS BIG SUR. So I decided to leave everything aside. Last May, I decided to try again, but under better conditions. I first migrated my site to a specialized host with Wordpress: SiteGround and did a search to learn how to use Elementor. After following some sessions offered by ELEMENTOR, I found that the pace of the trainers was too fast. I then did a web search and found your tutorial. My experience in IT I started my vocational training in 1973 to become a programmer/analyst – training abandoned in 1975 and beginning my working life on the labour market as a computer operator (1975-1979). During those years, I realized that the field of computer science was not the one in which I wanted to pursue my career. So I went into the arts sector. I helped create an association in the professional dance sector, of which I was the executive director for the first eleven years. For the last 25 years of my career, I worked at the Quebec government’s Ministère de la Culture et des Communications as an advisor on the development of cultural policies, primarily to improve the socio-economic conditions of artists. By taking your course, I had a good foundation to make the most of your teaching. Feedback on ELEMENTOR PRO training The content of your course and your pedagogical approach are very high level. The presentation of the contents is done with the concern to allow students to acquire the knowledge. The pace of the presentation, the rehearsals, the proposed stop times, the instructions and the illustration on the path screen all contribute to the understanding of the processes. The course structure is logical and scalable. The course is complete. I very much appreciated your suggestions to optimize learning, including the acquisition of a monitor that complements the computer. I acquired a 24-inch monitor even though my MacBook Pro has a 15-inch screen. The combination of two screens was a valuable asset. I also appreciated your concern for careful work and cohesion in setting up the various components of the site to be built. A very interesting aspect is how to choose the color palette of the site using the function offered by Adobe. SiteGround offers the possibility to create a site in «stage» mode. This allows you to modify aspects or the entire site without affecting the online site. I used this function to complete your training and I will use a 2nd «stage» to rebuild my site. So I can refer to the pages and articles created during my training with you to review some aspects. SiteGround and Elementor offer an exemplary 24/7 support service in chat mode or over the phone. During the training, I experienced some technical problems and this support was very helpful. I also learned that Elementor’s technical support is not offered if I use a theme that is not recognized, such as the KARMA theme that works with the AHETO extension. AHETO was creating compatibility problems with Elementor. In this context I chose to use the theme used during the training With the knowledge gained through your training, I feel well equipped to begin rebuilding my website, which will include both a “Gallery” and a “Blog” section. This is a great match for me. I had some experience with building web pages in the past, but not much with WordPress and very little with Elementor. I feel this instructor is very thorough and methodical in his coverage of the topics, very well organized, and very knowledgeable. I look forward to each lesson!
