Course Overview
Practice Exams to prepare to the ISTQB advanced level test automation engineer certification
This course contains 5 mock exams to prepare to take the ISTQB test automation engineer exam (ISTQB CTTAE).
Each test contains 40 questions, You will be limited by the time 90 min and you must obtain a score of 65% to succeed, This allows you to put yourself in the same conditions as the real exam, I would like to note that the level of difficulty of these mocks are the same as the final exam (you will have simple, medium and complex questions), and same level of details so you have to read the syllabus many times to properly test your knowledge and well prepare for the final exam.
For each question I have included an explanation of the answer (all explanations are based on the syllabus of ISTQB CTTAE).
At the end of the practical exams, you will have an idea of your level and whether you are ready to take the ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer certification exam, if not, please reread the syllabus.
As you can notice everything is based on the syllabus, the key to passing the final exam is to read the syllabus carefully, and pay attention to the details (even if you see that a detail is not very interesting, pay attention to it).

The content covered through these questions are thorough. Many other exam dumps have conflicting answers and are very basic in structure. The gamble for those types of mock exams are that they either appear or don't. The questions in these past papers test thoroughly the content of the study-material itself. There are a few questions that are very similar to actual exam questions. Don't confuse this with the actual exam though. The level of detail in the actual exam's scenario questions are purposeful to flood your thoughts and confuse you. Please read carefully and pick out that which is relevant. No scenario questions from these papers were covered in my exam attempt (as I said, the core rationale for these papers are to test your understanding of the material). The exam questions, above just confirming your understanding of the material, is designed to almost mislead you in terms of the multiple choices attached to it. Anyway, that's my 2 cent comment. I hope it helps. I would advise covering the syllabus a few times and completing these questions are few times as well. I've just completed the exam now and passed with 86%. I made a summary of the syllabus material (pertinent points) and learnt off that (to block out the unnecessary level of detail in the actual material). I read over this summary and practiced these past papers (3x each) for a month, and then took the exam. Good luck.
