Using Calc to Analyze Data
Every day millions of people need to use spreadsheet software for data entry and analysis. As such, people are always looking for ways to be more efficient when using any software. This course will provide an introduction to using Libre Office Calc an open-source alternative to Microsoft Excel. All the basics of using spreadsheet software along with concepts of data analysis are included such as auto-fill, conditional formatting, conditions, using functions, simple accounting, and financial analysis, statistical analysis, data visualization, and what-if analysis to name a few of the concepts addressed.
Excel users can also benefit from this course even though the focus is on Calc. There is a large amount of overlap in what the two programs can do and therefore it is possible to learn from this course while using Excel.
This course is designed for beginners to expert level who may be looking for some tips or insights that they may not have been exposed to before. The course is good, covering a lot of different aspects of Calc. A few more exercises at the end of each section would have made this a great course. Audio quality isn't the best.
