Welcome to this iMovie training course! In this course we will provide you the skills to start using iMovie and start making videos like a pro! We'll go through the basics all the way through to some advanced features to make your videos stand out.
If you have a Mac then iMovie comes bundled and installed for free, so you have everything you need to get started!
iMovie has been designed to make it easy to make, edit and export your home and professional videos and movies. You can easily share your videos with your friends and family, and even post it online for the world to see!

Do I need to be an expert?
No, this course is designed for people who may never have used a iMovie before or want to become and expert in iMovie.
What software do I need?
We’ll be demoing most features on iMovie running on macOS Big Sur, but if you have an earlier or later version of the macOS that’s fine, features are very similar.
Why this course?
This course will be easy to understand, and is great because it will be hands on. It’s even better if you take this course on your Mac and follow along if you can.

This course gave me what I needed. iMovie, like most Apple software, is intuitive, and you can figure a lot of it out yourself, but of course, there are little nuances here and there that maybe you wouldn't have realized existed. That's where Emilio comes in. His course was not too long and easy to follow. Emilio walks you through all of iMovie's features, with the right amount of time spent on them. He speaks well and stays on focus. We Americans naturally love the Australian accent. The only quibbles: Most of the chapters end abruptly, so that there's not much of a transition to the next video. (We don't need a big transition; another course I took had transitions that were too long.) And the bigger quibble: When Emilio was editing sound and demonstrating it for us, I couldn't hear that sound so well since it was much quieter than his voice. I got the idea, but being able to hear that sound better would have made the demonstrations more enlightening. Thank you for the quick course! I needed that boost.

This is a great course for learning about imovie. I have tried to figure out imovie on my own a number of times and just got confused and overwhelmed. This course really broke down all the things you can do in imovie and made it really much less overwhelming. Thank you!
