Learning by doing is a helpful approach. However, the course seems to lack a true syllabus and I'm finding it frustrating for the reasons below. - Jumping back and forth (separate lessons) between using eclipse and writing code. - Lack of pre-checking examples (e.g., referencing non-static from static method raising an error beyond current course progress). - Not providing enough (or any) explanation/perspective when doing something new or very particular (e.g., creating "main" or placing code to invoke a class and employ an object). - The example-checker rejected simple code that worked in jshell (copy/pasted) resulting in frustration and wasted time.
