Walkthroughs of the exercise answers would've helped. Also there are parts that seem to be for a bit more experienced users. I saw code in the third exercise that I have no idea how he got to that. Wasn't discussed to my knowledge.

This is an introductory course in PHP; I was expecting to learn a little bit more than what are the data types, syntax and control flow and block statement construction and manipulation. Having said that, Simon was thorough in explaining each topic area Setting up the server, using WAMP or XAMPP and FileZilla, was challenging and most likely daunting to anyone who has never done it before; I don't think guidance was provided; it would have been helpful. A good introductory course for the complete beginner in programming.

Course was short, but contained good information. He mentions at the beginning that the course will teach you what you need to know to be a PHP developer, but I would definitely not consider myself a PHP developer after finishing the course. It was a good introduction, but a good portion of the course was Powerpoint slides that the instructor spoke over.

He goes back in programming like me. Ill bet he even started in assembly. What he knows, only us dinosaurs know and appreciate.
