As there are newer versions of the java the installation was not the same, I had alot fewer options so I don't know if I'm missing something yet. Also it's hard to know when codeing if he uses spaces sometimes also knowing if there is a capital letter or not. But so far so good, these where just some minor things that was hard for me... The above was after 3 lessons, for some reason I was asked to give review. I believed it was for the first lessons. Now I'm at 50%, had to read up by myself and watch some youtube videos as not all is clear, for example all the different variables. I keep adding and changing the review as I progress . @60% Still same, overall good, but somethings are really hard and not explained.... Hopefully someone will answer the QA... :) Just finished and can say that never got an answer on my questions i put in QA. What i missed in this course. Somethings where really hard do understand so I had to look them up on youtube. And that were some basic things. Some things weren't explained at all. The progression was to big for my sake. Also a lot of mathematical thinking, would be better to make it more basic. Overall good but there is a lot still I don't understand.

The class is easy to follow and explains the fundamentals in depth. Each subject is broken down so that you can understand how Java programming works. This is a great foundation builder for starters. The class gave me a solid understanding of the basics in java.

This was a great course taught in a concise way with illustrative example programs which helped explain the concepts well. The lecturer was easy to understand, without being overly verbose and gave good insight on some common errors that programmers make. He also helped a lot with accustoming me to good programming habits which I was unaware of before this course. The only minor issue I had is that some theory/philosophy (the non programming aspect) behind certain concepts such as Interfaces, abstract classes etc. weren't explained in detail and I had a little trouble understanding why they were used at all. All-in-all, I loved the course and am looking forward to purchasing the advanced course to enhance my grasp on this language.

I learned the basics , but I didn't really find anything to make things stick other than repetition. If he taught a college course in the summer and I was new to programming? I'm pretty sure I'd receive an F despite my best efforts.
