I have limited experience with PHP, and this course was a great start to more in-depth knowledge. The instructor moved at a pretty good pace, a bit quick at times, but he really knew his stuff. I especially appreciated the sections on the error messages and the security. Those are sections I haven't seen in any other courses, and they were really helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone else just getting started with PHP. It was really helpful!

I'm missing some context on the different functions we are learning. I understand that it is usefull to work with a simple example but having a benchmark or example where this function is used on an website, or application would make this more relevant to me. I hope I can change my opinion by going through the course but as for the moment must say I'm a bit dissapointed... Working on section three where I had three courses on PHP functions you should know. Starting lecture 34 and see exactely the same as the three previous lessons? This is a mix of two different courses that is badly merged guys... sorry. First negative , dissapointing experience with a Udemy course.

This is an excellent introduction, I am re-learning everything I knew after 5.3.x php version. Though I have to admit I am now a bit rusty with PHP, this primer made me aware of the basics especially the later parts of the training.
