Thank you Mosh! Excellent course! It definitely covers the basics. My only reason for not giving five stars is content is a bit dated here November 2025

I thought this course was very well done. I feel very confident in beginning my journey with C#, which is exactly what I wanted out of this course. Mosh did great at introducing concepts and did pretty good at explaining them as we used them in demos. The main reason this course isn't getting 5 stars from me is the constant ReSharper promoting, which honestly feels like a big deal to me. I think that throwing in a side program/editor extension is the last thing new students should be concerned with while they are trying to get a base foundation built. Not the biggest deal for me to just ignore those moments, but a few times it just felt like a random distraction that threw me out of the moment of understanding a new thing.

Very good overview of C#. Many concepts would be familiar if you know other programming languages, but I feel confident to use this in a project now.

Disappointed with the course. There are frequent add inserts for a paid for add on Resharper. Multiple topics brought up only to be told they will be in the later courses so it just feels like padding and makes things more confusing. Things expected in the exercises that are never touched upon in the sections before them. One of the first exercises requires asking for an input that is never taught. Very outdated and doesn’t actually feel like he is teaching you the steps and tools needed to write real code.
