Yes, it was. But Mark should have prepared the materials better. Wasting a lot of time to see him typing durin ghte course and making mistakes (unless this is the itention:)).

Content is great, but wildly outdated and in desperate need of updating. Instructor is good for the most part, but makes lots of mistakes that he doesn't catch (i.e. "Sending Email with PHP" section), and support for questions and student issues is non-existent.

I liked this course because it gave me so much knowledge about php and MySQL. It was a good match for me as i learned webdesigning and Php is required for a website. All my doughts were solved when i went through this course.

some of the software and instructions are so out of date and no immediate support for when one has issues My review above still holds true, however, I am able to get through it. I had to use XAMPP instead of WAMP as the one referred to looks nothing like the one available now. I can just about use the Komodo, but it looks so different from the one being used. I wish there was a reference to this issue and what one should do. I am a total novice to the topic, and was discouraged at the start, but had to just push through to get this far. BUT THE TEACHER IS FANTASTIC, that is why I am increasing the stars
