Crazy old stuff. We are on Xcode 14 and swift 5, not on Xcode 8 and swift 3.2! It's shame that you sell this course.

Jonny B is a great teacher and this course takes you through one simple and one really advanced project, i think the later one is one of the more fully featured examples I've seen on Udemy this far. A little annoynig the intro and outro of each lesson, but at least they keep it short. A small challenge is that the course is made in swift 3.2, with added videos for swift 4.0, we are on 5 now, xcode will help you translate most of it as you go through the 3.2 videos, but it could still be a little challenging.

Course is good, but the instructor/author has not responded to several questions. Also, I think that the author should show how to use URLSession to make the API as well as the AlamoFire method (in the same way that the Swift native approach is shown for extracting JSON) to show the native and 3rd party approach. It will also help students that get stuck with CocoaPods not behaving.

Good course, but would help if it was updated to latest XCode/Swift version (though basically you can google when things go wrong). Also, not a big problem but sort of annoying that they don't use the Udemy Q&A to answer questions, but their own discord channel - not a deal breaker at all, but something future students should know. Otherwise a good course - great to learn Mac apps as opposed to iOS - and hope Devslopes make other courses like this.
