Applications Built
Within the "Learn Ionic 3 From Scratch" course, you will be making the Github Profile Searcher from scratch. Prior to interacting with any API, we create our mock data and TypeScript interfaces for a strongly typed approach to development.
We then look at making 'Beep', the social chat application from UX design all the way to full implementation*. As you follow the course, we design the application in Adobe Experience Design and then look at implementing the various features to a production standard within our project.
We use Firebase for our real-time database and authentication, as well as the latest release candidate which includes the modularisation of AngularFire2 into different packages.
By the end of this course, you'll be able to make cross platform mobile applications using Angular 4, TypeScript and Ionic 3. This means that you'll be able to:
- Create high performance mobile applications using web technologies (HTML5 and JavaScript).

The course was great. Building the beep application from scratch to advanced features helped to learn and understand the development process. It would be great if some areas were detailed even more. The rationale for pages and components is understandable but I guess the reason for it is reusability of components within pages. Example of such cases would be great to have. I also would like to have some examples of guards and event publishing (events are mentioned in the last sections of the course). All in all great course, easy to follow and valuable details in every lecture.

I think the course used to be better when it had a lot of support from the instructor, right now I think the beginning part is good but having a real chat app working example is what makes it attractive, by the way, a lot of outdated videos and no one answering questions. I also missed some technical explanations like what is an Observable, Injectable, async, await, map, forkjoin and why using RXJS is important.

Eu percebi que esse instrutor tem total domínio das tecnologias envolvidas, ele responde aos pedidos de atualização do curso (porque muitas dessas tecnologias mudam de versão e o código quebra, exigindo atualizações de correções) e também responde às dúvidas mais frequentes. Pena que ele é tão acelerado. Eu não consegui acompanhar esse curso sem ficar pausando/voltando trecho constantemente. Só não dei nota 5 estrelas por isso, pois o restante, eu achei muito bom.
