You mentioned WordPress version 6.6.6. This might be a result of "security through obscurity" techniques performed by website owners in order to hide the real WP version of their sites. Is there a source that proves 6.6.6 is linked with hacking activities?

Each step in the process of securing your Wordpress sites is explained in thorough detail and all the do's and don'ts of what to use and what not to use in that process are covered. This course is a small investment in the future of your online presence is well worth it or you may as well just close down your site because without taking the precautions outlined in this excellent video instructional you will spend far more in both money and time 'trying' to get recover your site(s) once the hackers get control of it.
