The third section of this course will be taking the knowledge learned from previous sections and deploying the application to production on AWS in a fault tolerant way.

You'll learn how to calculate costs for a real life project hosted on AWS and load balance the web application so you can scale out to as many hosts as you need.

Along the way you'll learn about many other AWS resources and also learn how to hook up a domain name to a load balancer and secure it with a free SSL certificate.

    Generally pretty satisfied with the course with detailed and easy to understand explanations. However much of the information is very outdated, many parts of the CLI commands have changed and quite a lot of things are now depreciated& outdated. So it takes a lot of time to research now usable commands etc. which then result in unexpected and non-comparable results. This makes following along unnecessarily hard and the gained knowledge is sometimes outdated and not usable on a modern (rails-)app. Anyways, being a rails developer and needing to deploy to aws this course still contains some relevant info at a fair price. It's solid but pretty outdated.

    Helped me a lot to deploy my application to aws! Great explanations, very detailed and hands on. But I was expecting a little about auto scaling up and down my infrastructure to adapt to load variations.

    Course is outdated!! It's not good that 3 years after it's originally authored, it is STILL using ClassicLoadBalancer to illustrate how load balancing works with ECS. ClassicLoadBalancer is a legacy tech and should be replaced either via ALB or NLB. Not happy and want my money back

    Changed 5 to 4 stars. I believe dockering the rails app need to be updated. Except that very practical n well explained. Liked the way creating mostly with aws-cli. Highly recommended for those who like to learn AWS ECS n deploy containerized applications to AWS ECS.
