The course is outdated. Some of its parts seem to have been created on the go. The code is poorly formatted.

I would advise against taking this course. It is outdated and about 2 months ago, the instructor stopped answering questions. I could not get the section on JWT for Authentication to work. The course was written for an older version of Laravel. The JSON Web Token Authentication that was used has also been updated. I wasted a lot of time trying to get this section to work. I'll need to look elsewhere now.
