Explains what the code does but does not explain the reason for its behaviour. If the example doesn't work in some clips, he just skips to the next video. the course is recorded in 2015; most are outdated methods now. the explanation can be quite confusing for a beginner, but if you know a bit of coding, this video should help you understand HTML, CSS and JS.
