Pretty good course, especially if you have some experience with Node.js. The course is full of great information, nice projects, and the author explains things well. You have to stay sharp because he goes from file to file and talks pretty fast so you'll have to keep up. He also ends the course somewhat abruptly in the middle of a set of tasks. But it's nothing a Google or Youtube search couldn't handle. Other than that this is a solid course from beginning to end, and really helps bring everything together from a full-stack perspective. Highly recommend the course, five star if the author finished it, four star because he didn't.

First, this was a great course that taught exactly what was described. You go step-by-step into creating the apps. If you want a practical course to apply Node.js, this is a great course. I suggest you have some background in html, css and javascript/node. This is for applying what you've learned, not for learning it the first time. Arash is a great instructor who shows how the code is created and then walks through the explanations very carefully. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is because the course has not been updated. The course relies on third-party APIs, and they have changed significantly since the course was created. Be ready to do a significant amount of troubleshooting if you are not already familiar with those APIs. Since the Q&A sections are not very active, there is little guidance for these updates. That said, if you have the skills for this course, you should have the skills to figure out how to navigate the APIs.

The instructor doesn't follow generic laws of node.js.
