Complete guide to building a GraphQL API

Everything you need to know to build your own GraphQL API

GraphQL is a query language developed by Facebook to power their mobile applications. It's a replacement for traditional REST API's and is far more flexible and faster. With GraphQL you can query multiple resources with a single request to the server. Making it ideal for web applications and mobile apps.

It's very easy to write your own GraphQL API. It's compatible with any database and can even work across different database engines if required. Start now and have your GraphQL API running in no time!

The instructor explains GraphQL concepts well with a simple yet good example. Not a very advanced course, but, definitely helpful for the newbies for GraphQL.

Syntax user in the demos is a little out of date, and it would be nice to have the sample DB provided on the lecture about it since the creation of it is not covered. Otherwise, it’s a great overview of the tool, and was extremely helpful in getting me started on GraphQL

Great course, easy to follow whilst also explaining the concepts well. Be good if we knew the source code (basically just for the mock DB) were available to download before the end of the course! Also, watching you manually write all the imports / correcting syntax errors etc is a bit unnecessary. Overall great though!
