Course Information
Course Overview
Learn the basics of RxJS, and get up and running quickly
RxJS is known to have an incredibly steep learning curve. This course is designed to help Javascript programmers of any experience level learn all the basics you needed to be effective with the RxJS library. This course is also framework agnostic, so you don't have to know React, Vue, or Angular to follow along. I've intentionally created the course in vanilla Javascript as well, so you won't need to know Typescript either.

This was a very good course. I really appreciated the instructor using a real life example to demonstrate the concepts. This will definitely help me in my profession, since Angular relies heavily on RxJS and we haven't upgraded sufficiently to start using Signals. I wish a little more time was spent on the differences between switchMap, mergeMap and concatMap. A few more examples would have helped me better understand the differences between these operators. I plan to keep an eye out for other courses this instructor offers!

The instructor knows how reactive programming works and he knows how to explain it so that you can grasp the information

Really greate couse on Rxjs and observables. But, it wasn't always clear in which branch he was in each lesson and the Dark Sky Api used in the last project is outdated. But overall really good.

The course itself is good, however not very well maintained. I ran into a few issues in setting up some of the examples and, it took me a while to get started. Also, it is not possible to code along with the final project as you cannot sign up for the necessary API which, is disappointing.
