Should have previous programming experience, including object oriented such as C++, which I have. Like the way he connects the languages and interfaces together, how they fit together such as the installation and setting up the xampp appache web server with mysql and php. in addition, what javascript or Ajax or JSON or HTML or CSS or XML are used for, their purpose. I also thiink that seeing some of the problems with running the code is helpful in that you see some of the common errors that are made and how to find and fix. The tips are very helpful too.

This seemed like a well-rounded course for Web Development, comprised of some important technologies such as: JavaScript, XML, JSON, AJAX & PHP. So I had high expectations for this course. However, I did not appreciate nor like the instructor's method of teaching, such as cutting and pasting from a completed project that he prepared in his own time. It becomes very difficult to follow on at times, and I found myself looking through his completed code to find out where I went wrong and ultimately I just gave up. My advice or recommendations to the instructor, should he wish to take it is to cover everything in depth, going through things step by step from scratch. So this gives the learner more of an opportunity to go over and correct mistakes or finding out where they're going wrong in the early stages. Rather than briefly explaining a piece of code prepared earlier, and having the learner looking through things not knowing about some sections, because it wasn't covered properly in the demonstration. This course has great potential, and if the instructor actually put in the time and effort by doing things from scratch where the learner is able to follow on, this course would have been a lot better. Thanks anyway.
