It’s a great course, but it moves very fast. I finished it in about nine days, though I could easily have done it in seven if I hadn’t been distracted by other work-related stuff. There are very few tasks to complete, which I think would have made the course better—but also much longer. You go through lesson after lesson, and it’s up to you to pause after each one and practice what you’ve learned. I found myself forgetting some of the earlier lessons, but I still ended up with a great overview and know much more than before. I started as a complete newbie, and now I can style websites and make them look good—though I’ve forgotten a lot of the details. You really have to stop after each lesson and practice for a while to make it stick. For example I just finished the course and I don't remember the difference between flex vs. grid, but a bit of Googling will fix that. The explanations are excellent, the lessons are really great, but they come at a fast pace. If I had paused to practice after each one, I’m sure I’d feel much more confident now and know the difference by heart - it's explained really good in the course. Overall, I’m glad I took the course—in a very short period I learned so much!
