Strengths: The slides explain XML concepts like elements, attributes, and schemas in a straightforward way. It does provide a structured overview of XML’s building blocks. Weaknesses: There were no practice sessions or practical exercises. Everything was theory, delivered via slides. As a result, I don’t feel equipped to actually sit down and start using XML on my computer. The course doesn’t bridge the gap between concepts and application—there’s no guidance on how to work with XML in real tools or projects. Overall: This course may help you recognize XML terminology, but it doesn’t prepare you to use XML in practice. For a true beginner’s course, I’d expect hands‑on examples, exercises, and demonstrations. Without those, it feels incomplete as an introduction.
