The course starts strong and provides a good foundation in the early lessons. The instructor explains concepts clearly at the beginning, which makes it approachable for beginners. However, after lesson 175 the pace changes, and from section 23 onward, a lot of shortcuts, functions, and classes are introduced too quickly. This makes it hard to follow, especially for those new to programming. Some key topics like MVC are covered in a way that feels advanced, and without homework or practice exercises, it’s difficult to fully grasp the material. After lesson 200 the content becomes even more challenging. Overall, the course has valuable content, but it’s not very beginner-friendly in the later sections and would benefit from more step-by-step explanations and practice opportunities.

Engaging delivery, the instructor's steady flow of thought, and debugging as he goes along are invaluable for newbies with PHP. I'm taking this course as a refresher, as I've been using PHP for over 20 years but haven't used it extensively in the last 5 years. I would suggest that the instructor try `echo print_r($var, true)` for the code so it pretty-prints the content, though; however, that's a nitpick from a long-time PHP developer.
