Great class for a beginner programer. Some of the gem docs have obviously been updated but that makes for a good opportunity to learn and actually read the docs. Well done, thanks John.

I enjoyed the content and the instruction was really straight forward. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in rails or looking for experience in building an application with the MVC architecture. However, there are a couple spots where code changes are made that aren't explained that can lead to a bit of confusion. Overall: great course!

The teacher explains every single thing step by step, inculding the reservoir stuff. For the most part he uses free stuff like heroku, bitbucket and c9. Even now a days that the course has long ended, he is pretty quick to answer question, again with a step by step solution, awesome course for begginers

It's not very engaging...(First Run). After going through the course a second and third time, I changed my rating. One trick I used that increased my utility of the course was the SPEED Selector. I bumped it up to 1.25 and even 1.5 sometimes. There is a great deal of good information found in the lessons for new students. One way that might be beneficial in elaborating on those areas would be to break down the lessons into more manageable bites. Maybe more like 5-6 minute long blocks instead of 30?
