I'm giving this course a 4-star rating. It's a good starting point, and the content is well-organized and clearly explained, especially in relation to WordPress fundamentals. However, the downside is that the course hasn't been updated in a long time. Since technology evolves quickly, some parts feel outdated. Still, if you're a beginner looking to learn the basics, this course is definitely good enough.

Ok, I just bought this. I've been a WordPress designer and developer for 6 years. For context, what I do is mostly on the front end using some CSS, JS, and editing just a few things in PHP and SQL if needed (which is rare, maybe three or 4 times a month nothing huge), so I didn't know what to expect when buying this if it would be valuable information or it wouldn't be. Quite frankly I'm floored at how much I've already learned. This is among the best developer setups I've ever seen. Great sandbox learning. Make sure to watch the videos completely though, because he leaves his own errors in there and explains them later, so if you're just jumping around, thinking you'll have it, you won't and then your stuff won't work and you won't know why. Just for context: I've worked through a lot of courses, and have ones from top name developers on here like Angela Yu, Derek Banas, Brad Traversy, Colt Steele and many others. This is easily as helpful as all of those mentioned, specifically if you're digging into WordPress.
