The course is not up to date the Joomla 3, is no longer being updated. The PRI Background Module is no longer available.

Presentation is entirely too casual. Presentation has not been updated to reflect changes in critical software: Joomla has been totally reorganized and SiteGround has comepletely changed its Control Panel interface. This course should be avoided.

This course basically shows you that Joomla with some free tools and some organization is a great, affordable substitute for trying to build or incorporate from scratch a ton of functionality that wordpress is lacking. I tried to jump to Drupal and figured out I didn't have the basic coding base to do so. Joomla is very intuitive and this course shows you how to be functional as a designer/pseudo developer as you continue to work on your skills.
