Would not recommend this if you are a beginner in Laravel. Video is too fast and not explained well. Source code is not attached so it's hard to grasp what he's discussing if you're typing. Too many code errors and it disrupts the learning flow. Some videos have audio error/feedback/noise, whatever you call it, and it startled me. API design is not even standard. It should be GET for getFriends and not POST. Topic is interesting but compared to other well structured Udemy course, this is very underwhelming.

Great course, well delivered and explained. Learned everything I needed to know re pusher, echo and vue (all of which is fairly new to me). Only lost half star as I lost many hours finding errors as I tried to follow. In almost all cases, we syntax (rather than other as his editor seemed to auto correct formatting and I was trying to follow - and my editor doesnt fix, and switch screens on video is super fast in parts so was a little challenging here and there - BUT all part of the learning (fixing errors). I strongly recommend this course! btw I am using Laravel 6x and higher version of pusher etc - all still works nicely. Thanks!

The course taught me broadcasting system and related things. Some codes should be updated. I didn't ask any question. when I got a problem, I searched it and found the correct one. But, instructor is funny and I liked the course.
