I did not like the way the contents were taught. It has a poor explanation. Not so beginner-friendly. I wish I had a better teacher.

This course was my first approach to Web Development, knowing absolutely nothing about it. The course started explaining basics and helping me to understand how it all works, so I could start learning the different languages and having some understanding of what I'm doing step by step. As the course kept going, I found out that there are some things that are not fully explained or simply just left with no explanation at all (sometimes, a brief explanation was given several steps later), but I managed to understand a few doing some side search. When I finally reached the JavaScript content, I found myself completely lost, because there was no explanation whatsoever about the practical application of the things that were taught, so for me it was similar to learning letters and sounds, not knowing that they would form words and sentences. I stopped doing the course for some time because I couldn't find some sense in the JavaScript usage and its applications to the real world, but I decided one day to finish it, doing A LOT of side search and trying to get some understanding on my own. I found out that a lot of things were assumed to be known, even though they weren't explained throughout the course, and are key to understand how JavaScript works. Definitions, differences and examples of key factors are missing, and I found a lack of depth in JavaScript basic knowledge, tools and exercises.
