In this Learning Drupal 8 training course, expert author Rain Michaels teaches you the basic building blocks for creating a customized Drupal website. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no experience with Drupal is required.

The course is detailed enough for the complete Drupal beginner, but sometimes it fails to be engaging enough. This is mostly due to the instructor's accentuation; it has an unamusing I-am-reading-a-script feel to it, rather than actually explaining what's going on in a more natural way. Of course and to be fair, that does not alter the fact she appears to be very knowledgeable about the subject she is teaching. All that said, I can definitely see myself returning to the course material after I have experimented on or during working on actual Drupal projects.
