This course is outdated. If you don't have advanced knowledge of WordPress, you're going to get stuck. I got stuck when GraphQL simply stopped working. I followed everything to the letter, but after we made changes to the homepage, GraphQL no longer returned "blocks" and everything broke. I don't recommend this course; it has too many gaps.

Great explanations and updates for astro v5. A big warning though that this is 50/50 a astro and wordpress course. I underestimated the use of wordpress and got the course for astro js (not a lot of them at this time for v5). Obviously this is on me and has nothing to do with the course itself, which is great and clearly describes the use of wordpress; I just want to make other people looking for astro js, aware that this course should be considered only if you actualy are interested in using wordpress.

The course material is good. I'm giving a lower mark for 3 reasons: 1 - instructor needs to change the pace from time to time to let students 'catch up'. The audio is all entirely at the same pace. 2 - some lessons need to be split up, because 2 subjects have been shoehorned into 1 lesson. For example, lesson 57 only the 2nd half is about styling. 3. The biggest problem - the chosen VSC code theme is such that half of the content is unreadable! The contrast is WAYYYY too low - and I don't have bad eyesight!. OK, you can constantly switch to the Github repository to read the code, but please, please do something about this.
