Why innovation project management?
Innovation has become a buzzword in recent years, however, now more than ever it is essential for companies to stay ahead of competitors, new entrants and changing market trends. Change is accelerating. As technology continues to progress at faster and faster rates we are seeing more and more new applications making old business models obsolete. Consider the rise of Uber, Tesla, Air BnB, Spotify, Netflix and Amazon and how they are revolutionising our lives. Traditional businesses know that they must innovate, but many are not doing so effectively. It's one thing having great ideas, quite another to deliver on them. That's where innovation project management comes in. Skilled Innovation PM's can take an idea and help to turn it into a reality. It's a skill that will be in demand more and more in the future.

Excellent match. I knew nothing about this approach. I feel I've learned quite a lot about the descriptive language used and details about each section.

properly structured and made. The only missing thing is caption, since not all people might fluently understand the message in the video

Thanks to the 'Managing Innovative Projects' course, I am aware now that I have been an advocate on innovation and Agile practices, without even realising I was one. I worked as a Bid Manager in a large company (very bureaucratic) before I moved to a start-up company. What a difference it is when one works with people who are open-minded, hands-on, willing to complement working together, where there are no silos and transparent real-time communication, these are colleagues who were avid to learn and who were excellent professionals. I had the opportunity to learn new software, to enjoy testing new software tools later on; and I loved it! In a year, I learned so much! However, I moved to another medium-size company where the problem was the hierarchical structure, bureaucracy, closed-minded staff who did anything to oppose to changes. Your course made me aware and is helping me to find my way back to what I like. Thank you!

Good course, it gives new ways of doing PM. I would give it 5 stars but one thing prevents me from doing this: lack of subtitles. Not everyone can understand it. If you add them, I will take this course again for sure as I feel that I understood only about 20%.
