I am a learning and development and instructional design professional with over 15 years of teaching and training adults, professional development, performance management, writing training standards and training folks in L&D. I am not fond of the approach to training and development presented here for HR professionals. There are folks like me with a deep expertise in this area, including how to support performance management, needs assessment, and selecting the right training to meet the right need. HR folks, need to understand how to reach out to L&D folk. Additionally, the slide used for this training do not align with adult learning principles and methodologies, which adds to how I feel about this approach in training and development.

I found the lectures difficult to understand and often had to listen 4–5 times to grasp the content. For U.S. students, it might be more effective to use speakers with accents that are easier for the audience to follow, as the current delivery was somewhat challenging to comprehend.
