Learn grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to work towards CEFR level B1
Learning English and becoming a confident communicator in the English language is something that can enrich your life and open up so many new opportunities.
But as an experienced English teacher, I know that it can often be difficult and scary to learn a new language.
I’m here to help you learn at a pace that is comfortable for you, and to motivate you and help you in your journey to learn English!
This course will help you to become confident in the basics of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, in the comfort of your own home.

What You’ll Learn
- Make introductions and say goodbye
- Say numbers 1 to 1,000 in English
- Form sentences using the verb 'to be'
- Understand and say the days of the week
- Understand and say countries of the world and nationalities
- Ask and answer questions about personal information
- Use possessive adjectives in sentences e.g. my, your, his...
- Say the alphabet in English
- Use a range of vocabulary to talk about common objects
- Use articles correctly in sentences e.g. this, that, these, those
- Form sentences using the present simple
- Use a range of verb phrases to talk about common activities e.g. drive a car, live in a house
- Form sentences using the possessive 's' e.g. This is Emily's cat.
- Use a range of vocabulary to talk about family
- Recognise a range of phonemic symbols and pronounce consonant and vowel sounds correctly in English
