English for Football (Soccer)

In this course, you will:

• learn a lot of the vocabulary you need to understand football conversations.

• test your knowledge on the vocabulary that you learn.

• listen to natural conversations on football.

At the end of the course you will:

• feel more confident when you talk about football.

• be able to use vocabulary on many different football topics.

• develop your listening skills on the topic of football.

On this course, you’ll learn a lot of vocabulary on the topic of football. I will teach you this vocabulary with videos, and show you different pictures and animations to help you learn this vocabulary. You’ll also practise and improve your listening and confidence in your speaking.

In section 1, you'll learn how to use vocabulary about things and people on the pitch, and also vocabulary we use during a match.

In section 2, you'll learn vocabulary of the football world, including competitions, players qualities, tactics, and transfers.

In section 3, you'll practise your listening and speaking on football topics.

I will also test you on everything that you learn on the course. You'll practise vocabulary with quizzes, and you'll practise speaking and writing with assignments.

When you finish this course, you will understand more when people talk to you about football, and you will feel more confident when you talk to people about football.
