Speak like a Jamaican in Creole also known as Patwa/Patwah or Patois

This Jamaican Creole course will teach you vocabulary, sentences and questions you need to know to be able to communicate at a basic level.   

You will learn how to greet someone, introduce yourself, ask questions and understand what the locals are saying and even begin to understand reggae music and Jamaican Proverbs.    

How you will learn:   You will learn with a number of video contents

• You will learn with the 8 parts of speech in the Jamaican language

• You will begin by learning simple sentences with lots of repetition 

• You will get a chance to repeat each sentence orally, so that you get comfortable with the accent.

• You will learn how to respond to questions and ask questions

• You will learn how words are pluralise in this language.

• You will improve your listening skill and improve your understanding.

What are the requirements?   

• A working headset to listen to the audio

• A screen on your device to be able to see the sentences and the words that are spoken

• Being able to pronounce the words and sentences

• A willingness to have fun while you learn!

• People who already have little or no knowledge of the language and would like to learn it. 

• People who are going to Jamaica on holiday and need to learn the basics.

• People who have Jamaican partners/family/friends and would like to be able to speak with them and understand when they hear Jamaican when others speak it.
