What's special about this course:
All grammar explanations are in German, so you can train your listening.
There is on-screen English text to support your understanding (comprehensive and adapted speed and composition - no hectic clicking back and forth to catch the subtitles).
The explanations are compact and to the point and are supported by multiple examples, which also give you more options to expand your vocabulary and demonstrate how to use vocabulary and grammar in the context of spoken language.
Explanations and examples come with pictures, so you can tie what you learn to an image and remember it better.
For each explanation video in German, there is also a script with the German text, so you have both, the German and the English version.
The lectures has a pdf-script attached with the lecture presentation.
There are also exercises and quizzes for you to practice what you have learned, as well as a final test that covers the whole course content.
At the end of the course you will also get a personalized signed language certificate.

The course is very clear and well-structured. I really like that the instructor speaks entirely in German while providing English subtitles — it helps you get used to the language’s natural rhythm. She speaks slowly and clearly, and I’ve already started to understand parts of what she says without needing the subtitles. The lessons are well organized, and each one builds smoothly on the previous topics, making it easy to follow along and feel your progress. However, I would not rely on this course alone. To get the most out of it, you should combine it with other resources for practice — especially for reading, writing, and listening comprehension. Doing extra exercises and immersing yourself in the language will make a big difference. Overall, it’s an excellent foundation and a great way to start your German learning journey.

I have not finished the course yet. I like the course a lot, the teacher speaks in german which I find to be perfect but I wish there were subtitles in german too. That would have made the course even better. I have a little bit of foundation so that would have helped me build more faster. (I saw now that she shares the scripts)
