The course provided ample amounts of reading, listening, and writing practice. I particularly liked how certain concepts could be practiced and reinforced via quizzes and assignments. However, the content of several sections consists of themed but isolated word lists, and if the course is taken in numerical lesson order, that results in a potentially significant amount of time passing before being able to use those words because of the grammar discussions being at the end. Regarding the grammar lessons, I appreciated getting introduced to and having the opportunity to recognize and practice using the patterns that differentiate tenses from one another, but explanations associated with example sentences were inconsistent in terms of depth, so (much like with earlier sections devoted to specific topics) I was left not understanding why they were written in certain ways or not knowing the rules that governed specific word/pronoun choices, for example. Ultimately, I have a better understanding of the language than I did before I started, but my confidence in being able to use it is more or less unchanged.

Thank you. A great introduction to Urdu. Exposure is the key. Writing letters and words has to be done on our own but constantly being exposed to words, and listening to them is what helps the most. In the end, it is up to us to learn.
