Turn Intimidation into Mastery
Many people suffer from being intimidated by the subject of accounting. This can lead to several challenges, such as, a person could miss out on a promotional opportunity, or a person can decide not to start a business, or an entrepreneur can leave all the accounting to the accountant and not know when the accountant is robbing you blind. Through this course, you will unlock the mysteries of accounting so that you can get that promotion, open that business, and keep an eagle eye on your accountant!
You will learn through:
- video and audio lectures,
- practical exercises that you can practice over and over,
- and you will learn through the eyes of a fictitious small business.
You will learn exactly what debits and credits do, you will learn to find errors at a high level (even though you may still have an accountant fix the problem), and you will have the foundation to build further accounting knowledge that differentiates you from the crowd.
I have proven methods to help you learn this subject easily, all you need is the openness to believe you can actually learn this important part of the business world.

Very clear cut yet detailed info - she makes it easy to look at accounting information and makes it actually interesting. Thank you for the handouts as well! Will definitely be using these whenever I'm looking at my own business' financials.

it's very basic stuff to a non-accounting person such as myself...i still have some questions about the material and am looking forward to the response of the teacher... re: review above; i quickly received some very clear answers to my befuddled questions--very helpful. as well, i'm taking a load of finance/business courses here on udemy and my current course is an 'intro to business' type course, described as a basic, from the ground-up course, in the course description. immediately i recognized that the instructors did not go into as much detail and interpretation of the basic accounting terms as Dr Julie Bonner has within this course. The other instructor certainly gave an example of 'accounts payable', 'accounts receivable', etc but only a one liner and onto the next thing. I am very glad that I chanced into Dr Bonner's course first as I would have felt overwhelmed immediately had I started with the other business courses(and feeling overwhelmed so quickly in course can lead to struggling to finish a course) Also, the 'cheat sheets' that Dr Bonner gives as part of this course are very helpful and once I print these off, I know that it will be easier to follow along in my other course work. I would absolutely enrol in a follow-up course to 'accounting decoded' if Dr Bonner offered such....as it is, I will look up some of her offerings on Youtube. Thank you Dr Bonner!
