I had to discard both ubuntu 20.04 VMs, create two 24.04 VMs instead, and follow the directions in chapter 8 (Aug 2024 update). Chapter 8 instructions are missing a few things like sudo apt install curl and systemctl start docker. Why Udemy made this update chapter 8, AFTER you go through all the trouble of creating the Ubuntu 20.04 VMs, appears to be just laziness and lack of testing. Frustrating after spending $200 on the class.

Best setup of Kubernetes I have ever seen. Great job. Easy to follow. However, I found it difficult to run some of the labs because I could not get the Kubernetes/Ubuntu stable enough run. I tried contacting the author but no one responded. Other course dealing with kubernetes on Udemy the instructors are very responsive. This course has the making of 5 stars but the instructor is absent. I tried email leaving Q&A, Notes and nothing worked.

Good got good insight into k8s security. Can we have similar course considering any of the managed k8s like aws eks or azure aks etc..
