Learn Adobe Photoshop from Scratch is exactly that. It's been designed with the absolute beginner in mind who have never opened Photoshop before.

It has been purposely derived from reading dozens of low star reviews from other courses where the reviewer has made it clear that they still struggle to follow along because the instructor speaks too fast, or they perform tasks too quickly and so on. So based on those comments, this course is keeping it simple and as basic as possible to make it easier to soak up the information.

It is literally to get students who are brand new to Photoshop familiar with its interface by looking at all the tools, menus and palettes and understanding what they do and I try to take away any intimidation that some students may have when they see inside Photoshop for the first time.

Not only do we look at all the tools, menu's and palettes, but we also perform a number of simple and fun tasks along the way.

There's also the resource folder where all the images used in the course can be downloaded to make it even easier to follow along.

Now, for those of you who may be wondering why we are using CS6 for this training course and not the latest version of Photoshop, the answer is simple...This course is literally aimed at the beginners only and CS6 is easily a powerful enough program to get you started. The later versions of Photoshop do have one or two extra tools added and tweaks here and there, but you do not need the latest version to create amazing out of this world graphics.

That being said, if you do have the latest version of Photoshop, you should still be able to follow along, you might just find some tools in different places and a few other changes here and there.
