This course covered some of the basics for getting started with Reaper for voice over and overall it was good. I did find it rushed in places and I had to replay sections over several times so see what the author was doing on in the video. I think it would be much better if is was paced slowed with more care given to clarify exactly what is being done at each new step. For example, at the end I had no idea how the image and later the video was being loaded into Reaper. I had to figure out that it was drop and drag.

This is the third course/video/instructional I’ve gone through for Reaper with regards to Voice Over and it is great. Each instructor brings their unique takes to the subject, so one might gloss over normalization while another digs in deeper. Therefore, I urge you to take this course and a few others to round out your knowledge.

He keeps it simple and to the point. He also explains how to keep Reaper simple, which is what I need since I only wish to record my voice. Every other tutorial will cover all the bells and whistles for music production. I am a podcaster, not a musician, and therefore I don't care about the extra features. In short, I want to say "thank you" for creating a course that is basic and too the point.

So far it's a good intro. Mostly knew this stuff from experience, but good to clarify certain parts.
